The aesthetic I’m going for is kind of a found art look.

The sources of the pictures are scanned mah jong tiles and scans from some old public domain books.

They won’t be relevant to the content, but they’ll be different.

I was hoping I would be able to ween the blog off the “Disable Canonical Redirect” plugin, but no such luck. Yahoo Web Hosting doesn’t support .htaccess, which apparently is required to avoid the perpetual resolve url error

Now I’m more frustrated by a lack of readers than a lack of privacy. I haven’t quite gotten to the stage of accepting the axiom “You have no privacy, deal with it,” but I’m not going to bother trying to hide my identity anymore.

Anybody who cared could have figured it out easily enough. So here I am. I’m on Facebook. I’m on Google. I might even activate Buzz. And I’m going to work on keeping the site fresh.

The instructions in the codex were easy enough.
