The header image was added in February 2011. It’s a scan from a 13-volume “Handy Stratford Edition” of Shakespeare’s works published by David McKay, Philadelphia. If the Wikipedia article on McKay is to be trusted, the set dates to 1885. The particular image is the frontispiece (if that’s indeed the word I’m looking for) from Richard II.
