… with a bang and a whimper
Nowadays most folks expect the Battle of Armageddon to take place in Armageddon – the Middle East. But I’m pretty sure Pakistan is where everything falls apart. Here’s how I see it going down:
- The government crumbles, the military goes into disarray.
- Islamic extremists get their hands on a nuke.
- A video of the extremists – maybe even Bin Laden – holding their nuclear treasure is released
- World stock markets go into a tailspin, triggering global depression
- All military forces from the U.S., Europe, Australia, etc., are sent to the region to find the bomb
- As the western forces close in, the militants ignite the bomb
- Thousands of soldiers are killed
- The military vacuum triggers worldwide chaos: North Korea invades South Korea (since all U.S. troops in the DMZ were sent to Pakistan); India uses the chaos as a pretense to take Kashmir; Iran and Syria attack Israel; Russia invades Afghanistan; Iraq descends into anarchy
