I discovered a bug in Google Calendar. (In Firefox anyway; didn’t test on IE.) When you include a named day in an event, the day gets dropped and the event gets moved for the next week. So when I added an untimed event called “Palm Sunday” for 3/16/08, I got the message “Event Created.” But nothing showed up. So I went to add Easter on 3/23 and found an event called “Palm” scheduled for that date. I got the same result by adding Maundy Thursday on 3/20/08.
Workaround: Add your event in quotes.
